Please note that your booking is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from us and 50% deposit has been paid.

 

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will require full payment. Changes to location or party requirements may incur additional charges.

 

By proceeding with your booking, you agree to all outlined.

 

We do not accept liability for any injuries or damages that may occur at a party we are attending.

​Adults at the party are responsible for their children at all times and if our entertainers feel at risk they may terminate the party early, and full payment will be required.

​​Any damage caused to suits or props will be charged at the cost of a replacement.

The Comic Book Entertainer provides independent children’s entertainment services for parties and family events. All characters, costumes, performances, and portrayals presented by The Comic Book Entertainer are original representations and creative interpretations designed solely for entertainment purposes.

The Comic Book Entertainer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Disney, Marvel, Nintendo, DC Comics, or any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, or licensors. The Comic Book Entertainer does not claim ownership of any registered trademarks, copyrighted characters, or intellectual property belonging to third parties.

Any resemblance to well-known characters is purely coincidental or stylistic and does not imply any official association, endorsement, or approval. All trademarks, character names, and intellectual property rights remain the property of their respective owners.

Safeguarding & Age-Appropriate Performance

The Comic Book Entertainer is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and age-appropriate environment for all children. All performances are carefully tailored to suit the age group in attendance and are delivered in a family-friendly manner, free from inappropriate language, themes, or behaviour.

All interactions with children are conducted respectfully and professionally, in line with recognised safeguarding standards. Physical contact is kept to a minimum and only occurs when appropriate, invited, and in the presence of parents, guardians, or supervising adults.

Parents or guardians remain responsible for the supervision of children at all times during the event. Any specific needs, sensitivities, medical considerations, or safeguarding requirements should be communicated in advance to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

This disclaimer applies to all live performances, appearances, promotional materials, online content, and services provided by The Comic Book Entertainer.

Insurance & Liability

The Comic Book Entertainer holds appropriate public liability insurance for children’s entertainment services. Performances are delivered with due care and professional conduct; however, The Comic Book Entertainer cannot accept responsibility for incidents arising from factors outside of reasonable control, including but not limited to venue conditions, equipment provided by others, or the behaviour of attendees.

The booking party is responsible for ensuring that the performance area is safe, suitable, and compliant with venue requirements. Adult supervision remains the responsibility of the parent, guardian, organiser, or supervising staff at all times during the event.
